TUESDAY BLOG (1-22-12)
GRR!!!
I can't get onto the Tempest blogger...this sucks. I'll figure it out tomorrow, i was so excited because I finally had something I could do! and now I don't.....sad face.
I don't really have anything to do: I'm going to sadly, send Scott what I have (not excited about it at all) and then we start froms cratch on the tempest sound. So until then (computer downstair with my music is being a big ol meany--- I'll email him later tonight)--- I'm just going to talk about my plan for the tempest blog.
Really for me, I think the best route to take the blog is to be airy, cute with a professional sarcasm tone that good journalist have. My plan is to write the SHITT out of the journals: make people want to come to the show. Talk about it's process, the people working on (mini---- epic bio's on Chris and Lea Sr.) Hopefully get to do some "private" interviews with people or jsut plainly premote the show in general.
Kind of "The Pretty Project" but nothing like that what-so-ever....am I making sense?
Probably not.
Also I'd be sharing links and pics from our tumblr page, instagram and FB/ twitter....
All I have at the moment is a plan and nothing else to do....=(

MONDAY BLOG (1-21-13)
Wow...stil nothing to do. but because everyone was sick today I was SM for a day.
I contacted Scott with my apology: but he still wants to hear what I have,so I'll shoot my stuff over to him today and see if I can link the sound clip to hear.
it's really cheesy with my crappy sitar playing and all--- but it is at least "music". So I'll have to deal.
Scott is uploading his Dropbox soon and after that I can get an Idea in where we are headed.
For now my attention is turned to the opening number (the tempest itself) where he had mentioned that it might be a video-overlay. So today I have been listening to artist that I feel might be in teh correct direction: tomorrow I start to write!!!!

- Joe Bongiorno
- Some scottish punk Artist Who's name I can't recal
- My bike is a pipe bomb
- early Tom waits
- late Andrew Lloyd Webber
- early vinal AC/DC
- a CRAP LOAD of expirimental artist who's name are escaping me at the moment000
- Tun-yards (wolly-wolly gang)

FRIDAY POST (1-18-13)
Today aladren and the seniors left for Ohio (have fun!!!) so we all got to play the quite game in a closet of the dance studio....
Because I am scrapping what I have, and I don' have an initial idea yet: I'm focussing on the display case that Riley and I have been working on. I goatherd some quotes on the 5''7'' wooden carved maniquinns a to represent caliban,Ariel, Ferdinand, and Miranda. I can purchase them at a local A.C. Moore in Cransbury Township. The maniquinn hands, o the other Wegmans... Is alot harder to find. There are only a few select stores that carry these expensive items: I going them at the cheapest in an Utcherethcs art store j brick nj--- 21.99 for each land (45ish for left and right).
So two hands===$45
Four figures====$27
Total: $73
Yay?

THIRSDAY BLOG (1-17-13)
Not much time---- had a bad day with music. I've been listening to a lot of Punjab and Arabian Nightz and the more I listen the more I hate what I have---- so I worked in mixing the Sitar's an kimba with a filter from the mars wave.03.... It still isn't doing well in my ear. It's my why I wanted to create and it not up to my standards. So I'm trashing it and starting anew----- I want to send stuff to Scott I just want to impress him and assure him he isn't working with a TOTAL idiot.

WEDNESDAY POST (1-16-13)
Hello! Not much time to talk--- so I attempted to work I that sample Scott wants (what I have been working on) very unhappy with it--- I can't figure out y off timing to add drums... And it sounds like a sitar player stuck at an electronics orgy---- not what I wanted. But I still spent a lot of time on it... So here I guess :( try again tomorrow. I don't know how to post from iTunes to here---- do I have pics sous not ready to be heard

TUESDAY BLOG (1-15-13)
Hello Again--- I did not ask Aladren for a new assignment: since I went to the Honnor Roll breakfest thingy and I couldn't eat a damn thing =(
OH! I got Principle's List! that's the equivillant of Deans list!! yeep!
So-- um, past good news. Now to the stuff where I don't have things to work on--- I got into communication with Scott. He is very nice- and wants to hear what I have been working on:
issue is, what I have been working on is being a STUBBORN THING when it came down to bringing it from the page to performance.
What I wrote was melody line for Brittany. We have VERY diffrent ranges: so I think I'll have to pull a favor from a friend of mine to do the low range I wrote for, or pull Brittany and ask her if she can help.
But I have been thinking about changing it yet again: Scott listed drumset, electric guitar, loops and ambient sound, keyboards, voice (female) and (some) piano, both electric and acoustic...
So i initally had electric organs and acustic bass: but I think I may incorpret a sitar and electric ambient sounds for the sample.
Tonight I'll try to post a the picture of my start to finish sound bite-- if I can figure out how to take a screen shot...
anyone know?
